To Wally and all, ==================== ATTENTION PLEASE...ATTENTION PLEASE... ==================== I managed finally to get through to Michael Sheppard 30 minutes ago , after trying for an hour, who was as usual very courteous and welcoming and remembered me by name.. I'll try to re-play the conversation to the best of my recollection. OK here we go: == TMK " It has been a very exciting two days - yesterday up all the way and today excitingly up at the beginning but down so far" MS "Day still at its beginning" == TMK " Web site down cause and duration" MS - contractors were digging trenches out side their offices and they cut the cables by accident which was rectified in a short while after the local carrier created another loop. He was glad that they did not go live otherwise they would have been down in an hour. They have resilience in their systems and they can take care of failures within their control.. === TMK " When will the web site be up?" MS "Watch for announcements soon.. New Web site will have additions every week after its launch. Internet users will not be able to see the full capability of the Video streaming it will be somewhat slow, but Intranet customers will be able to utilize its full capability when they link on high speed lines" === TMK "did you demonstrate the new web site to any prospects? What was their reaction?" MS - they have customers who are lined up and ready to get on board, just waiting to see whether they can deliver what they have been saying and demonstrating.. He was very confident of delivering.. MS" not one presentation was received negatively by people who saw our product" They are preparing for more pipes for the months of August and September because of the expected demand foreseen. === TMK "do you still have the marketing forces you announced recruiting earlier in the year in different locations of the US?" MS - yes they have been selling voice so far.. TMK "any further development or new technologies expected with/from Siemens?" MS " Can not comment on that ?????" then he mentioned that if they have something FNTN likes they will buy, and with the investment bank on their side they are getting all the Financial help they need.. === TMK " do you have a data warehousing implementation? from Siemens?" MS - yes for customer information and it is a combination of both Siemens and other products. === TMK " do you have the auditors on board?" MS "Yes I can hear one right now in the other room" they will be there for a couple of weeks to do the official auditing which is going to be for the announced un-audited results of 97 and 1Q98, which they have reported a loss already because of setup and other structure investments. They are preparing the From10 for the SEC.. They are expecting loss for this year but an operating profit by Q4 which will be reflected in 1999 results.. === TMK "Why The Company Has Not Caught The Attention Of The Market And Investors Yet ?" MS "we are still a BB company and retailers do not pay much attention to BB stocks" TMK "Could it be because of lack of advertisement?" MS "We are working aggressively on this in Wall Street - watch how market will see us in Wall Street".. ==== I don't know whether I heard him right when he said "they will see us when we become a 3 digit price share" it was something in these lines.. === TMK "how can you explain the sudden move in price and share volumes? Does anybody know something?" MS "no comment.. And no" ============ My fingers are aching now.. I need a cool Tomato drink, and a drug that will make me sleep for couple of months.. On second thoughts, I don't know what is going on in the jungle and need to get an update on the price, right after I finish editing this message..
