I suppose that you think that the $1Trillion was spent 'looking for ghosts'! Hundreds of thousands of lines of code has already been corrected! Like you, I hope that it is a 'non' event, but if it is, it is in part due to the resources that are being spent now.

I'm sure that what ever the outcome, there will be those that will not be able to appreciate what has been accomplished!
