Joan, Chile is the only individual country I trust. In the rest of the continent, I play by using the Latin Discovery Fund (LDF) and Latin Small Companies (LLF). LDF is the class of the region and has been for several years. Sadly, it only sells at a 10% discount. Also, since it is a Morgan Stanley fund, you have to worry about rip off rights offerings. LLF has changed its name more often than I've changed my underwear. And I have given it more second chances than I've given my first 4 fiancees, put together. But they always seem to find a way to disappoint. But I still think small cap stocks is the way to go and I still hope, like a Chicago Cubs fan, that they will someday get their act together. MB
