Sonki, dogs. Some years, I guess you could call the Yankees (not this year!), the Celtics or the Canadiens dogs, but I never would. Over the long haul, some folks like these are almost always winners, but nobody is on top forever. I would put Intel in that category.

Sonki. I am not quite sure why our so-called dog, Intel, is up. I will not look a gift horse in the mouth though.

Um, I hope you did not sell WCOM too soon in your IRA. I sold my Merck this morning at 130 1/2 and will keep an eye on it for repurchasing it. I should have sold it yesterday. I had this feeling and I told Frank about it. My daughter has it in her IRA but we left that alone. It had dropped too much and she has a long time frame and Merck got plenty of cash. I am sure they will be doing something with it one of these days. I want to be sure though that I am in again soon. WLA and PFE have been thrown out with the bath water. They all came in above and I am looking to buy more WLA along with Merck.

P.S. Hm, I just saw Dell down 5. And it was up 2 earlier. I better look what happened here. Must be profit taking. LU lost its shine also.

Sonki and all Dell and Mrk holders. I just got a glimpse of the David Faber report on CNBC.

Dell's CFO had a conf. call. He did not say anything negative. He did say that the average selling price was going down but Dell has said that for some time and should have no effect on them. So, I guess some one jumped the chicken gun. gg.

And Merck has guided the analyst's down on a bit slower 2nd half. But Merck is upbeat otherwise. Margins will not be down. Analyst's are adjusting the earnings a bit downwards but Merck contributes the earnings slowdown in the second half to more expenditures for products. End result? More drugs. I guess you are right on that buying opp. and Dell looks appealing too now.
