High today was 90F California's Sacramento Valley. One 104F and one 102F day last week which did not seem that hot because our humidity is lower than in the south. I remember the humidity at Fort Riley Kansas. Coming from California, it took two weeks for me to adjust. I had been sowing sacks on a grain combine in 115-118 degree weather when I was drafted.
