Is it worth it to have $ invested in mo in the current climate. We're losing real money by not have the money we have in mo invested in other quality stocks for the past year (sgp, ge, pg, merck, ko, basically any blue chip stock). And is it worth waiting? What is the upside with any positive legislation: $50-$55? I sold part of my mo in 2/98 & bought lu because of this very reason. Lu has since doubled, while mo has staggered between 38-45. There are strong merits for being a long term investor, but do the positives currently outweigh the negatives for owning the stock right now? Results matter, & for the past year results have been scarce.
