You left out: a failed bid to buy Quicken, delays plaguing the MS/FDC joint venture with First Data to get into the electronic billpay business dominated by CKFR, and WIN98 crashing on national television, with Gate looking on.

But as you say, this WILL be interesting to watch

Bill can help his cause quite a bit by making start.com the default home page for all installations of Internet Explorer. Since IE now comprises a major chunk of the browser market, Microsoft can bring the eyeballs directly to their engine without need for exposure on AMZN, YHOO or XCIT.
