Top, schmop. I was waiting for a pullback like this in the blue chips to increase the stakes again. Bought C$CO calls, DELL calls, INTC, etc. (INTC looks best if you ask me).

Don't be deceived. It may be going down just a bit after a continued vertical upward motion. Big and small shorts (myslef included) have jumped in each of the two minor false corrections we have had since the parabolic raise that started in February and took the dow over 9000. Then short covering, particularly in the hot names, helped the Bulls initiate other vertical rises in which the stock market basically goes up every day. Since covering my internet shorts I have not increased my short position. In fact I will reduce rather than add to some of my positions in the next hesitation the market has. Then of course the real correction will happen:-)

IMO the only stocks that should be shorted are clearly broken stocks. Internet stocks deserve respect in this market. As Cramer says in his piece describing Pryt's wipe out, some pretty smart people were shorting Japan in 85. The tide is just too strong. With a decent economy, low rates and stock mania the sky is the limit.
