Doug: I agree with at least some of your comments...and yes Mark
Brophy did make a pretty accurate call on SYSF. Unfortunately
for him, he SHORTED AOL instead and it promptly went ballistic
while SYSF was self-destructing. He may have shorted some
SYSF as well, but if so I think it was just for a quick trade.
If he was really sure that the stock would go from $35 to $1,
seems he would have been too busy shorting all he could to
even post on this board <g>....kinda like how BA was too
busy selling all the shares he could to run the company
properly <g>.

I don't see SYSF going out of business anytime soon...they don't have any debt (yet), except the debt they owe Intel, and they have some real products and some real customers...they just aren't making any money. If they were considered an "Internet" company, the stock would probably be $60 or $70 now...maybe they can change the name of SystemWizard to NetWizard...that alone should triple the stock overnight. But maybe management has already made so much off their stock options that were cashed in when the stock was up in the 20's and 30's that they really don't have any need to pump the stock up now....After a few years of spending their millions maybe they will need some more cash and either pump the stock up or start a new company and do the same thing again.

I gotta wonder what Deb Bessemer thinks of this mess she has gotten herself into...if she had it to do over again, what would she do ???
At least she did buy some open market shares at around $4 I think with her own money (10,000 shares as I recall)...

Mark.

PS: You want some investment advice...buy and hold CBRL long-term...should easily double to triple in 5 years and then keep going...You live in TN right?? You probably see a bunch of Cracker Barrel's everday. Do you eat there? Like the food? At current prices, it's a great investment (not to mention a great place to eat).
