Looks like we could have a great buying opportunity if some of the short timers run for the door. I'm looking for more cash so I can buy some more MTEI.

Mr. D. I know you are revered here on Si and I find you to be nothing but a truly genuine and honest man. But you cant tell me you arent frustrated by what is happening to your money. While I dont have nearly as much $ as you do in MTEI, I have to LIVE off my investment $ right now. losing over $7,500 on this stock is a tremendous drain for me and that is where I stand right now.
I know the company is only an infant but their initial news releases were IMHO geared toward driving the stock price up, which they did. Now that they got alot of people interested (and in the process spiked the price) they are taking their time to get information out. I am not saying this is a scam or that they intended this to happen this way but it did and now alot of people are holding this stock at a big loss. Just doesnt seem right to me. If they wanted to get everyones attention and be responsible about it they would have waited to release all that initial stuff until they knew the true value of the land etc. Now, it was stupid of me to just jump in here without having that info and blah blah blah but the fact remains that MTEI seems to have dropped the ball here, whether they are a 100 year old company or 1 day. If you are selling stock on the open market you have a responsibility to your shareholders. Frankly I dont see it here. Why all the initial hoopla if we have to wait here for months while the price erodes? I envy all of you that can afford to put this away and wait a year. I cant and that was never the intention if you go back and look at eveyones initial enthusiasm. I'll bet alot of others feel the same way. Maybe Im wrong.

hello Mr. D,
How are you? I'm fine, still holding all my shares. I've bought on seven separate occasions now. Looks like I may just get the chance to average down even further in the near future.
Given how inexpensive terrestrial assets have become due to the fuel sector's lengthy and currently sustaining weakness, and the total combined experience/reputation/wisdom of MTEI management, I feel that a 100% return on my investment is eminent by this time next year.
No problem holding for that type of return. I was never given the impression that Jack was concerned about short term share price, in fact, I thought it was made abundantly clear that Jack is new to public relations. It follows then that short term share price can, will be, and has been volatile.
But, in the long run, don't matter to me, cause I would much rather have a group that's got experience in the field. Fact is, I wish they'd spend a little less time doing IR, and a little more time evaluating them potential acquisitions while the energy sector sustains its weakness.

Amazing how less stressful it is when you have the ability to hold long... nice talking with you... dave
