Wow Firstman I didn't mean to hit your hot button.I obviously don't know as much about "ozone holes" as you.I thought the ozone hole was simply a thinning or reduction of ozone concentrations resulting in the misnomer "ozone hole".I thought this allowed more radiation to reach the ground allowing the sun to fry our asses as you so aptly put it.What I hadn't heard before was Jane's statement that "air and moisture are hissing out into the huge vacuum suction tube" Meant no disrespect to you or Jane.Just wondered about that hissing.
