but also due to the effect on his reputation.
Bet they settle out of court for just that reason. Surely there needs to be a degree of trust in a business like that? WOuld you feel sanguine about dealing with someone you knew would steal you blind given the chance?
I already feel that way about my plumber, car mechanic, electrician, and country.

That Thomas; he can set things straight. He blows a whistle, and the boys just stand there in the glinting dust. Gaugie's got a welt over his eye; JFred's suspender is sprung; and D's gonna catch heel from Mom for that tear in his johns.
