Ann and all-Looks like Uncle Allen spoiled the party today. What I read of his statement sounds like just a little cautionary sabre-rattling to take a little steam out of the stock market. His performance plus MRK's disappointing performance took the biggest bite out of my portfolio in a long time.

I really expect the market to snap back fairly quickly. Hope I'm right!

Hello Ann. Thanks for the welcome back. Sheesh. I feel like leaving again. Mr.G. is back to his old tricks again of trying to scare us and it's not even Oct. yet.

Orcl has been coming back pretty well and so did ADIC. At least you made some money on Orcl now.

Your penny stock. Is the symbol 4 letters and starts with B? My daughter wanted me to check that one out for her. It's 15 cents. I told her to try some. I can remember when I bought 10.000 shares of Telmex for 12 cents a share in the eighties. Most analyst's called Mexico a luni place back then but I listened to Mr.L.Ehrenkranz. I better put a disclaimer on here just in case I remember the wrong name. But all those years I thought it was him I heard mentioning Telmex on FNN. Bill and I think Sue from CNBC where on FNN then. Sue H. could have come a bit later. Still my best investment ever. gg. It was on the OTC, went to about 2 dollars and then went public one day on the NYSE.

Good luck whatever it is you are buying. Maybe it will be a Msft one day even though I can't remember Msft ever being a penny stock.

I had a bunch of Dell when it first went public (bought in at about 9) but then sold at a small loss. I bought and sold it several times at small gains and not until last Aug. did I finally decide to hold on to it. I have not regretted it. I can't say it always looked expensive. If if if I had kept it from the beginning I would not have to watch any other stocks. Who knows where I would be. But where ever it would be, I would be there very very rich. gg.

Intel did well considering what the NAZ did.

Thanks for the link. I started reading some of it already.
