Here are two more Express Order servers. For some reason, Datek has not made them known to the public.

orders16.datek.com
orders17.datek.com

Wilson, I have a fix for the problem with super_express, thanks to an alert user.

Datek changed the URL that is used to submit orders.

Oddly, the old URL, instead of just not working, works unreliabily. The new URL seems to work fine.

I will upload a new version this evening.

I am working a a version with a few new features, but I haven't tested it fully. The one I upload tonight will just have the one fix for the "not available" problem. Next week, you should see a new version with these features:

- Select which express server you want to use
- Look up news, charts, and research

There will be "N", "S", and "R" links off to the right of each line, so that you can have the best of both worlds. That is, you can use the express server, yet still get the news, charts, and research.

I am still fiddling with the best way to work the server drop-down, and the user ID (which is needed for 2 out of 3 of the off-site "NSR" services) into the layout.

I've updated Super Express to use the new URL for submitting orders and other requests to the Datek server.

Please let me know if this seems to clear up the "server not available" problems or not.

If you are using Super Express from your local hard drive, you should go and download a new copy of the se_order.htm file. The downloading instructions can be found on the Super Express page:

stockclub.com

I should have a new version out shortly that will let you select the server, as well as get news, charts, and research.

BTW, I tracerouted the three express servers, and, for me, at least, the original orders7 provides the shortest route. It's connected via Iconnet, which used to be the dog of Datek's backbone providers, but now provides the most direct path, at least from my location. YMMV.
