Jim:
<<<Has DELL learned something about the computer business from this thread that they could not discover on their own ?>>>
They know we are buying the high end stuff and lots of it, and
more than 1 per family, and that web traffic is growing swiftly,
and that on-line trading is prospering, and new members will pay $200 to join a thread, and, etc.
Of course they already assumed it would happen, so it is no 'discovery' but its confirmation they have a good future.
Wonder how many Dells Three has bought now???, seems he spends
a lot of time at the factory store. That place is not big enough,
we were there on a weekday and it was crowded..

JP,

>> Has DELL learned something about the computer business from this thread that they could not discover on their own ? <<

If they did get help from the thread, my question would be how long they would have to wait to discover it for themselves. If we help them improve their product, we are helping the company 'evolve' their model. Now who benefits? Let's see now - what is a Stockholder?

** OT **

Since 'they' are monitoring this thread, I want DELL to offer a 'maxi' tower again, in the personal computer side! I have 3 pluggin Hard disks and 1 CD in the front of my unit! I have no internal drives, and can reconfigure the system by replacing the pluggable hard disks, of which I have about 12!

Will DELL computers be upgradable by replacing the PC66 with a PC100 motherboard, and at what price?

Regards,

Ken
