I think Datek has done great things with their software, their ECN and what they offer. I think they have had customer service issues, a lot of SEC/NASD complaints, but such is life as a high volume firm. Without getting into it, because I use and like their ECN, I agree with conjecture. I have heard it and seen it, but when it comes down to it, their fees for accessing their ECN are some of the cheapest andthey have great tech. Money rules over principal. Large firms have no problem taking ISLD if its there. More at issue is that a large firm would rather make the market against a customer order and ouwld rather cross in-house before going to ISLD.
