Mark,

You will see the last price/day high/day low. One of the reasons people are finding the pink sheets frustrating is that if you see trades go through at .35 and place a market buy order you end up paying .50 & up. The market order on pink sheets is frustrating and in my opinion a risky move. If you intend to buy while GE is still on pink sheets place a limit order (ie: 10,000 shares at .40).

Do not place a market order on these pink sheets unless you are not concerned over the price you will end up paying.

Conversly if you see orders go through at .50 and try to sell at market the trend is to get around .35.

Sign up for freerealtime quotes and watch the trades tomorrow. You will likely see the trend within the first 1/2 hour.

The above is my opinion only

David

PS I believe freerealtime.com will get you started on realtime quotes. It is free just fill out the questions.

Mark,

MM = market maker or money maker or money muncher or make many or most money or many monkeys or monkey man or just take your pick.

Actually it is a Market Maker and the word is just what it says. He/she makes the market for a security.
This I copied from somewhere.
One (as a person or firm) that, on a continuous basis, buys and sells a security for one's own account. Market makers normally try to profit from a rapid turnover in security positions rather than from holding those positions in anticipation of gradual price movements. Specialists on the organized exchanges and dealers in the over-the-counter market are market makers.

Without sounding to facetious I suggest that you get a book on investing terms or something on the basics of investing. I started that way. There are also many sites and dictionaries on the internet that can answer most of your questions on what a Market Maker is or a pink sheet etc.

good luck
