Lockheed reportedly mentioned in their most recent SEC filing, that after the aborted mega-merger, they will consider selling non-core assets and grow their defense and commercial space business. They also said they would consider selling part of their equity portfolio and excess real estate. Lockheed owns around 45.9 million shares of LOR. OK, they would be a sucker to part with that stake, but it is within the realm of possibility. What say we pool our pennies to come up with the $1.4b?
Cheers,
Thomas
