It was interesting to see that AAPL went down in the last three consequent sessions. It dropped 5/8 in each session.

Hope it will not continue in the manner. Any thoughts?!!

I attribute today's loss in AAPL to the general market having such a bad day. AAPL was actually down less on a percentage basis than nearly every other PC maker. I don't expect it will continue much longer, but I also don't expect AAPL to start moving strongly to the upside again until August when the iMac hype gets into full gear.

I'll tell you what worries me more though, the parallels between Japan's high-flying market of the late 80's and today's U.S. market. With the ridiculous valuations placed on some stocks these days -- many of them Internet related which have yet to show a single dime of profit -- it mirrors the high prices of many Japanese stocks before their terrible downfall. Now, I'm sure there are many other factors which, it could be argued, make the U.S. market much stronger than the late 80's Japanese model. It does give me pause though.

Unfortunately, AAPL will be brought down with every other stock if a Japanese-style market bloodbath were to occur here. The economy will turn, and there go the purchases fueling the PC market profits.

Essam- let some profits be taken!

Apple has had a phenominal run up- it's only fair to expect some profits to be taken. I am hoping the price will pull back. I have sold all my shares, and I want them back cheap!

Make that four consecutive trading sessions. I have to admit, I didn't notice that trend until you mentioned it, but again today AAPL was down another 5/8.

Let's hope we break the downward trend soon. I'd be shocked if AAPL went below 31, but I think the possibility of that is small unless we have 1987-style crash looming. That won't be until late October. :)
