Vlad...Those high PE multiples for the large drug companies are like gold in their pockets.....they will use the stock value to buy the smaller companies that are selling at a lower multiple than their own....

$30-40 mill profit in 1999 and $80-100 mill profit in YR 2000 can be realized by whoever buys Vivus....20 times Vivus 1999 eps looks cheap to a company that is being valued at 30-50 times earnings.

Gee wiz and I thought I was the only one. My only fear is that after seeing the past performance of this management team, they will screw up any buyout. In fact I am sure they already have a few. They might be trying to leverage more and everything they have done in the last month points to it, I just hope they dont get too greedy with their stock options and blow everything before its too late.
