Yes they did lose 36 cents but there are 1 time charges to be factored out so u can compare it to the estimates. U need to back out the inventory adjustment, tax adjustment, other income from the sale of stock but keep in the money they earned from the joint venture. After these adjustments, they lost 12 cents but they did not book a tax benefit for the loss this qtr which was talked about in the press release. The tax benefit would have been 2.8 million so the loss becomes 5 cents.

I found 3 different earnings estimates, ZACKS had them at a 7 cent loss, First Call had them at a 4 cent loss and I/B/E/S had them at a 3 cent loss.

After-hours had trades at 3 1/4 all the way down to 2 13/16 but u can not always go by after-hours on what will happen tomorrow. I am going to try to listen to the replay of the conference call if they have a replay.

Just remember, the book value is still $ 4.61 as of 6/30/98.
