Hi Blaine,

I have been using the free chart applications at bigcharts.com. As far as settings? What ever their preprogrammed formula is set at. The only reason that I may switch to another site to double check the Bollinger Bands would be for those stocks that need minor adjustments in the range because of unusual or unique trading patterns that exceed or fall short of actually touching the upper or lower bands. Not many like that based on my experience.

Length of time? I take a quick look at 3,2,1 years out to confirm the extreme patterns (overbrought/oversold) or pivot points. The plots and curves of the bands set itself. What you see is what you have.

The RSI? Again, what ever BigCharts.com set theirs at has worked just fine as a predictor.
