LT Please fill us in on the DELL conference call. DELL is on my radar screen as a short candidate here. For some reason you have managed to attract haters whenever you post. Maybe your idea of our starting an "LT Hate Thread" deserves some consideration. <gg> Steve, the API number will undoubtedly reinforce the thinking as of late about the timing of oil price recovery (not in 1998 but in 1999). With that, the driller slide will continue. They did close further down into new low today which also facilitate further lower lows in next few trading sessions. My next buy for FGII will be about 21 if it gets that low prior to its earning after which I think it can get a bounce, dead cat or earning driven. VRC will try to rally in the morning but that should quickly evaporate as people rush to sell into strength. Lesson - in screening for stocks to trade either long or short, it is best to stick with stocks one has been tracking for a while, hopefully with years of experience. The reason is quite simple - each stock has its personality. I almost made another damn-tower-like mistake this morning by wanting to short SRCM. Simply based on chart, one would say SRCM is headed for lower low. But what I didn't realized is how much SRCM has been manipulated by MM's as well as mo-mo traders. This uncertainty in effect took out the perceived advantage I have with the chart. It was simply plain luck (no shares to borrow) that saved my day. It could have been real ugly with another towering nightmare.
