Why did DELL fall today?

Every major technical indicator I have looked at tonight on DELL, other stocks (internet, technology, etc.) and the market in general looks bad. The RSI, MACD, and Stochastics on DELL and everything else are rolling over and giving negative (short term) sell signals. We may be in for a short term correction. Just look at the new highs minus lows on the NYSE and NASDAQ. Compare that to where we are in the averages (new highs) and they don't confirm. The rally has been thin. I am worried, but still bullish on DELL for only one reason. I think some of the hot air has to come out of the tech stocks with extended PEs and may flow into the ones that are actually making money. Tech is still the best long term bet for most of the institutional money managers and with DELL due to report next month and the possibility (I should say probability) of a 2:1 split, it may be one of the only games in town for the month of August. The thing I really worry about most is the rotten condition of all of the charts I'm looking at and the possibility of Greenspan and this market keeping the lid on any real good run in DELL.
