Hello billwot. Oops, I almost forgot about this post. I had read it and then it was gone of course. I just looked back at all the messages and spotted it. About what to do about Intel? I am doing nothing. I am ready to buy some more soon. I probably should have done it today but remember the call from J.Favors, the technical analyst? He called for a down turn on the 24th. I guess he got it. It came 3 days early - but he did say maybe 2 days + or - and I want to be sure that it is over before I buy more. But Intel did great in todays market. I think it will turn around soon. Besides Microprocessors and networking, we get a little Berkshire. gg. If they keep this up they will have a stake in every company they are dealing with. Of course this downturn did not stop me from buying more of my bummer stock HWP just before closing time. This old game of bottom fishing could kill you every time. gg. When I said the other day that my portfolio was in the red, I meant that most of my stocks on that day were in the red. The portfolio itself is doing pretty well. I sold some of my Merck yesterday morning but intend to buy it back soon. Hopefully this week. I am not sure if you have CA. I hope not. I just asked Sonki the same thing. My friends will be going to the Outer Banks for the last 2 weeks in August. I would have liked to join them for a long weekend but my step-daughter and grandchildren will be coming in from Seattle in 2 weeks. I don't think we will be going again until October when they will be closing down the cabin. So, have lots of fun and greet the Outer Banks for me, even though you are a lot further up. gg. And I did just return from the Ocean and ate plenty of Seafood. My wife thought I was nuts when I ate Prime Rib one night. I guess to each his own. She does not sway from Seafood when we go out at the beach. Sonny
