TO ALL I am really disappointed with PFE over the last two weeks. To think that PFE beats Wall Streets estimates only to TRADE sideways or down since then is a real DOWNER. Why does the price of PFE stall ??? Just today-- I did what I NEVER thought I'd ever DO-- and that was to sell HALF of my position in PFE at 115. I wanted to HOLD ALL of my PFE shares FOREVER BUT thought that I could do MORE with the money in ANOTHER INDUSTRY. Sooooo naturally I hope that PFE continues to GET BACK in the UP SWING soon<since I still have half my shares> BUt maybe I'll divide the rest up over DELL Microsoft INtel and MORE LUCENT.

First Call's earnings estimate for Vivus: FY98.....FY99 $-0.60...$+0.79 3Q98..$$+0.09 Each time I get a FC earnings estimate in my fax it is for continually lower earnings. I hope this trend bottoms some day. DAVID
