So Capt, what was the rumored purchase price that NN was willing to pay???

Capt, your postings originally got me here and I haven't seen any fundamental changes that contradict your original reasoning for purchasing Cabletron. I think that you are the victim of your own over-analysis of Cabletron. It isn't going to turn around in a couple of weeks, but take "Teflon"'s advice and just sit back and give it a couple of quarters before pulling the plug.

So far, everything I interpret everything that has transpired recently to be positive.
1. Companies are interested in purchasing them: NN
2. They have turned the corner and are profitable
3. They have very "hot" new products: hardware routers
4. Recent strong acquistions: NETVA and YAGO
5. Employee morale is high

Don't expect results tomorrow, because you will just end up being disappointed. Although it isn't visible yet in the stockprice, Cabletron is getting healthier.
