Shorts. This post is a must read

Barnes and Noble has a pilot program that should put amzn out of business. They intend to deliver books to your door in 2 hours if you order a book on the net. The only ketch is that you must be in a 10 mile radius of the store. What a great fricking idea. It is supposed to be nationwide in the beggining of 1999. They are going to deliver books like pizzas. Does anyone in this room not have a Barnes and Noble really close to where you live? If you dont you probably live in the boonies and listen to the Motley Fool on investing and still longIOMEGA. Since AMZN cant deliver pizza over the net they are in big trouble. This little tid bit seemed to be flying around late in the day.

No joke a tractor trailor shipping Amazon.com books has gotten into
an accident on I-95 in Phila. PA the truck was on fire & the books too. The company is now trying to track all the orders that got burned.
