I just finished listening to the re-broadcast of the conference call. One thing I kept thinking was -- what possible reasoning is left for the short sellers of Qualcomm NOW? Is QCOM still supposed to "go to $35 a share" due to the fact that (according to people like a certain Mr. Candle Stick) "it just needs to go there because of the stock chart?"

I assume some meaningful portion of the 10 million or so short position should start "saying 'uncle'" soon.

Jon.

Only some brokers can trade after hours, plus the conference call was made after all trades concluded. When the general public and the major market makers get in the trading tommorow, I think it will go up a lot more.

bruce,

Why? Because the general market conditions are at a pivotal point--consolidation after 9 days straight run on the Nazdaq and Greenspan's comments.

Be thankful Q didn't sell off like HWP.
