There is only one event that will appreciably increase the share price, and that is the release of the audited financials. There may well be, and probably is, some news/development(s) that management could announce which would have a short term positive effect; however any such effect would be short lived and wasted without the financials. Hence, we may well have to wait for financials before any other significant news is released.

Financials are supposed to be out in August or September. Having been both an auditor and "auditee," and given when the audit actually began, I would not anticipate the 1997 results until September. We might see the 1996 results, which are essentially meaningless, earlier. Balance sheet account balances roll forward from one year to the next, thus 1996 has to be done, at least due to the data corruption issue, to ensure that the balances carried forward are correct.

On the bright side, management's earlier representation of the .1085 eps for 1997 was not rescinded. Similarly, current management has stated in a conference call that 1997 was profitable and that the company continues to be profitable. As profit and loss accounts are closed at year end, the 1996 issue would probably not significantly impact this data. If reliance can be placed upon current management, and they have as yet given no reason for us to suspect the contrary, we should be fine and can look forward to some significant price appreciation before too much longer. I don't know who is selling at these prices, but it would not appear a wise move.
