Greetings Wavelings: Another facet for digital downloads. The Imagek news announcement made me think of the massive amount of people that use computers professionally for desktop publishing (clip-art, images, fonts, video images, etc.) When I sold software to consumers, most of my sales were in this area. For example, customers would ask if we had World War II airplane clip-art, or some other obscure theme. Oftentimes we wouldn't have a specific thing and sometimes we would, but it would be packaged with other graphics, fonts, etc. that the customer didn't want or need. Imagine a super desktop publishing digital download library where the consumer can get exactly what he/she needs without the rest of the package. This is not only a satisfied customer, but you can bet a return customer too. The immensity of the revenue generated by such a site would be staggering. In the words of Jan & Dean. .
