I lucked out and sold at 117 5/16, just because i wanted to play around with my money. i bought DIS and sold at a loss. so i could get back into DELL. ill be buying DELL in the am.
i also bought 150 shares of WAVC today. it took abought 2 hours for that order to go through on suretrade. I had to bid WAVC up just to get the 150 shares. but im certainly moveing back into DELL.

Chuzz,

who are those momentum traders? Funds? Institutions, individuals or mixed?

Chuzzlewit, regarding your comment:

<<Greenspan was the trigger. >>

As I said in another posting, the stock dropped today for one,or more, of the following reasons:

1) Meredith's comment regarding ASP's during the conference call.

2) Greenspan's comments and the interest rate picture affecting the markets.

3) A correction in the tech sector and remainder of the market.

Stock Bull

PS: <<Falling ASP's are not in the universe of perfection...at least not with Wall Street.>> Regarding my comment...IMO, if the analysts see falling ASP, they sell off and than analyze the reasons.

PSS: Regarding momentum investors bailing out of Dell. If this were the case, I think the damage today would have been confined to Dell, and not impact the overall market. Don't forget, the DOW, Naz and S&P were all down today.
