Dear Armin,
Thank you for the inquiry. Incidentally, had a son in law who graduated from the University of Chicago in their medical school, and another son in law from Illinois who became Secretary of Agriculture under Reagan.
Back to your question. I believe the private offering with Castle Creek was the first such business transaction with Pharmos. Others may know more on this subject. The 6,000,000 secondary offering was filed with the S.E.C. on July 14, 1998 and guess who paid for the legal work and the filing fee (Pharmos). That was part of the deal.
The offering by Castle Creek is to sell 6,000,000 shares at $2.53.
The stock as we write this reply to you has last traded at $2.50.
If they stabilize the market for their sale, the wolves (people like me) will probably stop complaining. If they continue to short the stock and pound it below $2, there will be a lot of howling. Time will tell.
If the stock that is sold lands in strong hands, it should be up , up, and away for the stock. Any news of FDA approvals on LE-10, or news about European filings or approvals for Alrex and Lotemax should bode well for the rest of this year. With favorable news on Hu-211 my prediction of $10.00 for PHarmos by years end has a shot.
Thanks for writing.
Regards,
Robert M. Silver
