Soros got thumped by Bre-X? It just goes
to show that nobody is immune. Warren
Buffett got worked by the Waste Management
scam. If he can get hit by fraud, anyone
can. Yea, that Bre-X was pretty scary. I
can see why some people pay a hugh price to
own companies like Coca-cola and Microsoft.
These companies actually respect their share
holders and work for them. From what I have
seen, that usually is not the case. Many
companies see their stockholders as sources
of potential revenue. I got hit hard by a
company like that last year. However, I
remain a CORX faithful. I have held my
position for almost 3 years now...I wish I
could buy more but I lack current cash flow.
