ZDTV Signs Distribution Agreement With Cox Communications PR Newswire, Wednesday, July 22, 1998 at 08:26 SAN FRANCISCO, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- ZDTV, an affiliate of Ziff-Davis (NYSE:ZD), today announced that it has signed a national affiliation agreement for carriage with Cox Communications (NYSE:COX). By leveraging this agreement, ZDTV intends to build distribution partnerships with individual Cox cable systems. ZDTV, the new 24-hour television channel devoted to computing and the Internet, will be offered on Cox Digital TV in the company's Connecticut and Rhode Island television systems beginning July 29th.
