Once again it looks like Ross is in position to start a run up. They had a great last quarter and based on the press releases the past quarter... time will tell.
I have seen the technology and it is a nice package.
Following are some of the positives for Ross.
It is century ready (has been all along i.e. RENCS)
It fits muti currency requirements (Good for Global &European Sales.)
It is very flexible. (Table Driven)
Great Drill down inquiries.
GEMBASE is easy to learn and quiet powerful.

Ross is developed with a tool called GEMBASE. This tool was purchase by Ross. Ross is in the ERP(Manufacturing Software) business. Some companies tried to write their own 4th GL's and are now suffering. EX. (Systems Software Assoc. BPCS) Ross may very well pick up a lot of new business from SSA (SSA is hurting).

Ross Systems can be implemented quickly without costing a fortune. SAP is the leader now in Man. Software but it is far too complex and costs millions to implement. Companies with sales of less than 5 million will have a hard time with the SAP price tag!

I believe the main problem with Ross is that it's price is too low compared to the competition. For the past few years they did have financial problems and this may have been the reason. Now they appear to have put the financial problems behind them, they may be able to increase the price tag. More companies will close deals after they see a software company is secure. (Customers want the software to improve and receive support)

Recently I saw that D. Vohs and Tinley brought shares in the latter end of this quarter. I have not seen this happen if the four years I've been involved with this stock. I may be wrong (I was last year) , but I believe we should see a 10 cent per share this quarter. Some people seem to think 15 is expected. But the important thing is to see if Ross can again have a record sales quarter and string 2 good EPS together, something we have not seen yet.

Best of luck to all.
