<<The magnitude of this sell off was higher than I expected. I figured we'd open in the 60's and then perhaps dip into the 50's. I haven't made any purchases today, and probably won't until the dust settles.>>

I think you (impersonal you) need to note the magnitude of the previous drop. From high to low, my memory indicates a 50 to 21 drop.
The equivalent same 42% of the high of about 81 would be 34. I think that initial drop was to about 30, a current equivalent of about 49.
If the peak EPS is compared (62 cents vs 49 cents, or 2.26 vs 1.71), the relevant levels would be still lower.

My expectation is that the demonstration of excellent execution through flat orders and stock price recovery in the past is likely to provide substantial current support, if everything else remains equal.

Regards, Don

Although the price has been holding up pretty well, there seems to have been quite a bit of selling of LLTC over the past 3 weeks. Looks to me like it could continue for a while. Using your rule I'm still looking for some at $56 or better. There has been very strong support at $60 but when that gives way the next stop could easily be $55, presumably for a base. I wouldn't mind taking a ride from $56 to $80, even if it took a while.
