Hi, Thread:

I have 3Qs. Why a company have to use Proforma data as well as
real EPS. in AMZN's case, amortization is not included in proforma
EPS. What's the rule here ?

I saw companies put Amortization in calculation of EPS. If Proforma
should not be used as evaluation number, then what the hell companies
put this number for, can we say cheating ? I specially do not like
the reports from following companies BFT/AMZN/INTU.

How do investors evaluate charges ? I see so called non-recurring
charge or one time charge happens repeatedly every two or three Qs.
Is there rule to force them to spread the charge into future earnings

Anybody have comments on following short picks ?
PETC, IKN, PHYC, SACM

Many thanks
