Dear prospector:

What a thrilling, to me at least, job you had working for Timken. Bearings are the heart of all machinery. I have studied everything that I can get my hands on in bearing maintenance and failure. I always have thirsted for knowledge in any area in which I worked.

I have used a lot of Timken wheel bearings in class 8 trucks and construction equipment. It is very interesting that Timken still manufactures in the USA. I have worked mainly on automotive equipment lately and see so much made in Japan, Mexico, China.

I still have some spare Timpkin wheel bearings on hand for one of my earth moving carry-alls.

Best,

Marshall
