Call the companies mentioned and ask each of them if they have a valid license for HIV2 from the patent holder , Sanofi. This is not private information, but is available if you ask the questions

Jets are on cool down...but always ready to take
on the same kind of garbage we've just seen...
unfortunately "the end justifies the means... seems
to be the philosophy that permeates our country at all levels....honesty, integrity, honor are the cornerstones
of MY credo...and I have no use for those who don't...
I am impressed with the Celts work ethic and their
performance...the market place will soon turn on their
radars...we've just beat 'em to it...GO TRIBY !! :-) Ron

I believe there have been less than 100 confirmed cases of HIV2 in this country. There is no question that it is a very small problem relative to the question of increased testing. The FDA may change their stance in the future. But when Abbott, for instance, a holder of a valid license enters this market, who will be the winner? I don't own Abbott by the way. They are selling a rapid test overseas, and having bought Murex, they have an interest in this market and will be filing with the FDA at some point.

And just call these companies and ask about an HIV2 license. This is not a secret
