Renby,

Of course, your selling is why QCOM is up to 65 11/16 as I write this. <g> I do agree, though, with adding to GSTRF positions at current pricing, even if it is annoying to watch my position (average base of $32.15) whittled away. I sold all my MCD (had a nice run) and BGEN (if you think satcom's are volatile!) to double up my holdings on these a few months back and look forward to your party.

Renby, I was just about to post something similar to Mqurice, when I read your post. <g>

Haven't sold any of my Q yet, though having just bought back in on Monday at 57+ (having sold out in the spring at 59 on the production problems news), sure has been a sweet couple of days. <gg>

Gstrf in the mid 20s is a steal, no doubt.

Doug

Renby, your triumvirate strategy looks like the 3 shell game they play on street corners in London to rip off innocent passersby. They have a marble or something under one shell, then they shuffle them around and you have to guess which one has it underneath. They use trickery! Guess which stock has the 'momentum' 'hype' 'fizz' or whatever the expression is. I reckon you have the right strategy. Holding a portfolio of many shares seems unmanageable and you can really get to know 3 stocks.

You don't think it a tad premature to race back to Globalstar with Qualcomm on such a roll? So far it was. Good luck! Hope you enjoy your SI days.

Visibility for Q.com? It got a bit today - Lou Dobbs on CNN Moneyline featured it briefly today along with Microsoft as stocks on the move. A few seconds of the name on the dashboard of a crashed Indy500 car [I think it was Indy500] yesterday.

Qualcomm hasn't got far to go to the 80s you know! Look at the graph over the past 5 years and you'll see frequent vertical climbs into virgin territory. Anyway, we need only wait a few more days to know.

Meanwhile Globalstar is ummm, consolidating.
