Just spoke to my father, retired department head of engineering for a company called G S Precision. They do a lot of work for many of the aerospace contractors, Pratt&Whitney,Raytheon,General Dynamics,GE,,Etc. Apparently business is booming, they are having trouble hiring machine operators to run the Swiss Screw machines etc..Mentioned work for GE on production of 2000 engines..This currently is an explosive area and should be for some time to come..good luck..DD

Walt, I was wondering the same thing about the correlation between Hexcel's message and the effect on the composite material sector, but here's the other side of the coin. Check out UTX's earnings after the bell today. UTX is the parent co. of Pratt and Whitney.

UTX exceeded expectations and cited the strong market for jet engines and overhaul work. Hmmmmmm..............................
