Getgo, At this point it may not matter if they know what they are doing or not, but they better have a GOOD STORY to tell about it tomorrow. To simply say they did it to gain entry into a new segment that they feel has long term potential relative to the purchase price won't hold water at this point in time. People want to hear that there will be costs that will go away immediatly and the combined intellectual property of the two entities will yeild new, exciting products in new areas or will provide products so far ahead of competition that they will take market share. If they don't give some real specifics on their ideas for this business, people will conclude they just wanted the revenue in order to gain critical mass that will allow them to survive in this industry as an independant company. God, I hope they understand this and are well prepared.
