Steve, About the Three-Legged Dog... I use this strategy with Amazon to protect myself if it goes against me. If it rockets up, I can cash out of the spread at no loss or gain, and thus try again. If it hammers down I'm in the money quickly, and my spread deteriorates less rapidly than a call on a straddle. It works. You just have to be diligent, have real time, and be able to access your broker efficiently. It's just the way I have chosen to play this monster. Sure, if you play it one way you might stand to reap larger profits--if you choose the right direction.... Lee
