<<Who knows what the value of EDI and ecommerce software companies whose products enable other companies to operate at a tiny fraction of the cost of doing business with paper? I submit it is not EPS or current ratios or market cap. >>

Great argument, Marty, but here is the problem....Any stock is only worth what folks will pay for it...that is why some have a PE of 8, some 800 and others have no E at all!....Tulips were worth something extraordinary once because they had perceived value...then one day they didn't ....

I cannot say that AMZN will never make money but I can say that until they do, we are in the dark when trying to put a value to them.... I, for one, think that the value currently placed will prove way too rich...and my guess is that a correction will be sooner rather than later....As with so many other manic companies, if we do have a bout of remorse, the indigestion may take a very long time to get over......

Then, it will require more proof that their valuation is warranted....

Regards,

Mike
