Are you kidding ? '95 to '97 the Intel thread was as bullish as this one is now, declining ASP's and competition, have killed Intel's growth rate but not their earnings. Anyway, from 74 in June '97 to 82 now isn't much, and plenty bought above where it is now, patience is the name of the game with Intel.

Hard to have patience when Dell is sprinting.

no buying for me until next week (still have big core holding in our favorite), btw, the first week of August last year was down for DELL.
It is still too far out from earnings to be piling on now, imho. maybe start buying AOL as they report in 2 weeks. the earnings run-up and selling the day before or day of reporting works quite well w/ the big names.
