Brief article written by Sue Galante for the street.com this morning
regarding AMZN's quarterly results about to be released. IAW Sue
the two key figures that the Street will be looking at are the GM's and the number of new customers. I find the latter figure an interesting one given the promotion that AMZN is currently running.
I purchased two books recently for 2 cents plus 4.95 for shipping and
handling. If the street is bidding up the price of AMZN in response
to new customers such as myself the bull run in AMZN'S stock price does not have a long life expectancy IMHO. Yes, I am short AMZN.
Does anyone know how AMZN will expense the 25 million paid to MS
in conjunction with the recent debt issue? Will the 25 million dollars be expensed over the life of the debt issue or is the charge
expensed upfront ?
