Rand. There are many levels of speculation in investment.

Will Microsoft continue to dominate the software market.
Slight or no speculation

Will Macintosh even come back as a serious player?
Moderate speculation

Who will end up dominating wireless communications?
Serious speculation

Will Naxos prove up the world's largest deposit of precious metals including gold, platinum, palladium, silver and more?
Wild speculation

The magnifying glass analogy is intended to point out that while many stocks are speculative, very few offer what we were sold on as unbelievable returns in a relatively short period of time which put a tremendous amount of pressure on getting nothing but good news on progress from Naxos. I have no doubt that there are some invested in Naxos who are basing their retirement plans on it's success. And THAT is not now to invest in ONE stock.

In all cases, there exist varying degrees of available information on which to base speculation. And on the Naxos front, the continued positive results of assays from Ledoux labs has been a continuing factor in dropping the speculation from "wild" to "moderate" based on the world class reputation of Ledoux.

What I would want to see is Paul Blumberg and Ledoux stand firm, show us what their results are and make a pledge with Naxos to plunge headlong into identifying the roadblocks and or challenges the check labs are running into with proper testing of the ore.

But then again, I also want to always hit the fastest moving lane at the toll plazas, and you can guess how often THAT happens, so take that for what it's worth.
