What I like about the Palm pilot vs. the Newton is that the Palm is smaller and the cradle is so easy to use in synching the Palm to my desktop PC.

The newton has a simple Apple cable that sill requires a certain degree of common sense so as not to jam the cable incorrectly into the port.

The palm just drops into the cradle and gravity does the rest. Just press the hotsynch button.

I hope the new Mac-Lite captures this.

However, the newton is great in that there are so many software packages available. The Palm is simpler, and smaller. Fits in my pocket.

I have to use a an Uncle Mikes Nylon holster designed for a 9mm Sig Sauer with laser sight to carry my Newton on my belt. It fits as if it were made for the Newton!
