Please, being a good momo player with 2-4 stocks, while you're lucky timing wise and the instant
you recommend a stock you virtually gaurantee that 100s or 1000s of retail investors will mimick
your actions is hardly a challenging setting in which to try and beat a market index or other
mutual funds. Me and you could, with the audience of TMF board behind us, do the same or
better with little effort. BTW, did you read his crazy claims -- it really sounds like dg's gone off
the deep end.


In that case, all we have to do is buy whatever stocks they recommend and we'll make money, if you really believe that they have the power to move stocks.
In all fairness though, AOL, AMZN and LU have
been absolute winners with or without the help of the MFs.
(I dont know why they did not buy YHOO!)
IMHO, their shortcoming is that they dont know when to quit eg IOM, ATCT, INVX etc...
I believe that AMZN will eventually get cut in half (at least); but I cant bet on this with my money :-((
I have lost enough cash shorting AMZN (and CMGI)
